Gibson ES 335

For sell is my 2011 Gibson Custom Shop ES 335 Memphis Dot Reissue.  This is a Custom shop built guitar out of Memphis Tenn. It is for all points and principles a NIB guitar. I ordered it in the fall and have only played it here in the house.  It is still on my credit card being paid off.  The only thing that would indicate that this guitar did not come off of the production line yesterday is a few small pick marks on the pick guard.  There are no other marks or signs of ware on the guitar at all. The case shows now signs of use either as it has been in the closet of my music room or on the sofa since I bought it. Below is the Gibson verbage for the guitsr but I will give you the basics here. It is a beautiful guitar with wonderful antique burst finish.  It comes with a classic 57 par burst buster ans a 57 burst buster plus.  It came from the shop with a nice set og chrome grover tuners and matching chrome hardware.  It was set up well when I got it but I like the strings nice and tight.  I re set the bridge and adjusted the set up to allow for the strings to lay lower to the fret board.

This is not a plain top of cheep version. This is the real deal from the custom shop.  It has nice figuring on the top and back.  The photos do not do it justice.  I do not know how many of these they made but regardless of the number out there, this one is a very special guitar and will onky continue to grow and mature with age.

The Gibson website had this guitar retailing at $5,649 with a street price of $3,800.  I am selling it with a fair but lower minimum as I need to sell it.  I am also listing my Taylor 814 with tobacco burst.  Whichever one sells first gows and I will keep the other.  We are just trying to get caught up and pay for the braces.

My loss is you gain.  It is a great sounding and playing guitar.  I have had several 335s over the years and this one plays and sounds as good as any I have played.  I tried to capture the beautiful grain on the woodas well as show the light pick guard marks.  There are no blimishes or scares on the guitar.  I have not even plugged it in in the last few weeks as I will want to keep it and I have to pay this debt down.  If you have any questions, please let me know and I will do my best to answer them.  This is a reissue of the 335 that came out in 1958 and has a nice solid weight, feel and balance to it.
